As a 501c3 non-profit charity, Wild Over Wildlife, has had ample opportunities to raise awareness about wildlife. The board of directors organize ongoing community service projects, such as mangrove restoration and arranging eco-tourism adventures to engage families with nature. Wild Over Wildlife members travel to film endangered species and threatened habitats, and film documentaries to share their experiences with the world. Currently, Wild Over Wildlife campaigns include putting an end to shark finning, transitioning from plastic to reusable shopping bags, banning plastic straws and working to stop deforestation. For their ongoing campaign, "Take Ten for Turtles", the group has partnered since 2009 with the Guy Harvey Research Institute, Broward County Sea Turtle Organization, and Nova Southeastern University. Through these groups, hundreds of children have had the opportunity to participate in the release of thousands of baby sea turtles.

We are entering our ninth year of this native habitat restoration project which has harvested, nurtured, and transplanted millions of red mangrove seedlings.

We now have restoration projections beginning in Trinidad and Tobago, South America, Central America, and our friends at the Kaskazi Environmental Alliance in Kenya are continuing work on their ONE MILLION seedling transplant!

Each fall, the propagules are harvested, grown, then transplanted upon maturity.
